Friday was the end of our first week of classes. I have heard good reports from the kids and adults about their teachers and classes...so far, so good.
Elias went down with a fever and chills, so the school called a doctor, who showed up in an ambulance! They ended up taking him to the clinic, and decided to keep him overnight. After a good night´s rest, oxygen, and antibiotics, he was a new man the next day. We learned a lot about health care hereñ maybe it was a little overkill to stay the night, but they are very concerned that visitors to Cusco enjoy their stay.
Internet service has been sketchy, between that and our Machu Picchu excursion, I haven´t been able to post since Thursday. Next post...Machu Pichu!
