Week one has passed...we have kept a fast-paced schedule...classes in the morning, volunteering in the afternoon, cultural activities in the evening, Machu Picchu excursion on Saturday. Language skills (hopefully!) have improved...vocabulary expanded...new friends made...lessons learned...many hearts touched.
We have seen the face of poverty and are doing our best to bring a little bit of joy to the lives of the children in our projects.
